He was Head of International Division of ICB Islamic Bank Ltd. & Padma Bank Ltd.

He worked at Government and Private Commercial Banks in Bangladesh. The banks are: Sonali Bank, AB Bank Ltd., Southeast Bank Ltd., ICB Islamic Bank Ltd., Bangladesh Commerce Bank Ltd., and Padma Bank Ltd.

Besides this MAK Azad is the founder Joint Secretary of S.W.I.F.T. Member & User Group of Bangladesh established on 2004. And the country best SWIFT Technical & Operational expert. He has received various SWIFT technical and operational advance training from SWIFT Training Center at United Kingdom, Belgium, Singapore and India.
